As A child, I was always making portraits, thinking that they were most valuable if the subject was centered, smiling and "in focus".It was only later that I realized that for me, resemblance takes many forms. More often, true resemblance is in the posture, the turn of the head, and particularly the position of the hands. That’s when the personality begins to show.
